How do I delete my BeQuit account?

To delete your account and all associated data, please send an email to office@invsion.at with the subject line 'Delete Account'. Include your registered email address and the reason for deletion (optional). Our team will process your request within 48 hours.

What happens to my quit smoking data when I delete my account?

When you delete your account, we permanently remove all your personal information, including your profile data, smoking history, quit progress, challenge records, XP points, achievements, friend connections, and any stored preferences. This process is irreversible and cannot be undone.

How long does it take to process my deletion request?

We typically process account deletion requests within 48 hours. You'll receive a confirmation email once your account has been successfully deleted and all your data has been permanently removed from our servers.

Can I download my quit smoking data before deleting my account?

Yes, you can request a copy of your data before deletion. In your account deletion email, simply mention that you'd like to receive your data export. We'll send you a comprehensive export of your quit smoking progress, achievements, and other data before proceeding with the deletion.

What happens to my active challenges when I delete my account?

Any active personal or group challenges will be automatically terminated. If you're in friend challenges or group challenges, other participants will be notified that the challenge has ended due to account deletion. Your progress will be removed from leaderboards.

Can I reactivate my account after deletion?

No, account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once your account is deleted, you cannot recover it or any of your quit smoking progress data. If you wish to use BeQuit again, you'll need to create a new account and start fresh.

What happens to my subscription if I delete my account?

If you have an active premium subscription, please make sure to cancel it through your payment provider (App Store or Google Play) before requesting account deletion. Account deletion does not automatically cancel your subscription, and you may continue to be charged.

Will my friends be notified when I delete my account?

Your friends will see that you're no longer on their friends list, but they won't receive a specific notification about your account deletion. Any shared challenges or group activities will show that you've left the challenge.

Important Notice

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your quit smoking progress, achievements, XP points, friend connections, and health milestone data will be permanently removed from our systems.

Consider taking a break from the app instead of deleting your account if you're experiencing temporary challenges with your quit smoking journey.

Privacy Settings: You can adjust your privacy settings to limit data sharing and social features

Pause Notifications: Turn off notifications in your account settings if they're not helpful

Reset Progress: Contact support if you want to reset your progress without deleting your account

Take a Break: Simply stop using the app - your data will remain secure for when you're ready to return
